boulders trees last light clouds sunburst Yarnell ArizonaIt was a long haul, and I thank all who helped make the final decisions on photographs for the 2019 calendar.  Although a lot less traveling occurred in the last 12 months than my usual I still got some great shots.  My little town of Yarnell is quite photogenic.   Like the cover shot above, also available for print.

I’m using Shutterfly again and either it’s improved a little or I’m learning what’s possible.  They didn’t offer an option I could find for moon phases so I choose two stickers, a black circle and a black outlined white circle, and added them to the appropriate days.  There’s also no option to print on the back page and I sent them that recommendation.  You might notice a few other changes as well.

For the most part, Shutterfly offers quite a few options.  If you play with it repeatedly it’s a pretty quick learn.  I worked on this project all weekend.  The images were ready to print.  After several hours of uploading and playing with layout I put it, and me, to bed.  The next day I tweaked a bit here and there.  Then let it sit another day and hit publish on Sunday.  It will probably be a couple weeks before delivery to me.

Thank you for all the encouragement that made this possible.
