After Lava Falls rapid and towards the end of the last day on the river the rapids decreased in size and frequency.

We started to call them ripples.

Made a pit stop where you get a chance to pee in the river.  Yes, that’s how it’s done.

And before we wanted this journey to be over Diamond Creek camp, our pull out point, appeared on the Hualapai side of the river.

  1. Now that is fun! I did some river rafting in Colorado a couple of summers ago. Looking forward to doing it again. I think I got the slave seat. Sure wasn't queen bee!
