So, I left you coastal hopping along the Western Cape. As I continued around False Bay the Strandfontein Beach caught my eye.

I’m not usually a big water baby. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy watching and listening to waves crashing on the shore. Yet I am very content with just that. No pressing need to wade into the salty water that leaves my skin crusty.

But, if the weather had been a bit warmer, I’d have gone wading in the pools built at this public beach.
Presumably to keep the big man-eating sharks away from the temptation of thrashing human swimmers.

Going through these images makes me want to return. Hmmm, maybe I’m due, or overdue, for another adventure off my own continent.
But first to finish documenting this journey where I continued along the coast towards the Cape of Good Hope.
