Been a slow road to healing and recovery from breaking both wrists in August.  Sadly, it’s not over yet.

However, my summer Ranger season is over in about two weeks.

So, where do I go from here?  A question I’ve been pondering for almost a month.

June – Must be a pot of gold in the bottom of Grand Canyon Arizona

My next doctor appointment October 9th should refer me to PT, an office conveniently across the hall.  That could mean 2-3 days a week for at least a month.

And that means staying in the truck-camper in an RV park.  The 5th-wheel will be stored not far from Bryce for the winter.

The Cedar City KOA is only two blocks from PT, nicely within walking distance.

Not so nice is the rent at $675/month + metered .12/kilowatt for electric.  OUCH!

Yet I don’t see any better choice.

So, the 2020 calendar sales profit will help pay the rent next month.

Please let me know, if you haven’t already, how many 2020 calendars you’d like to pre-order at $24 each including shipping in the USA.

I am sorry for not keeping up reading blogs.  Just trying to get my life in order, napping, and healing is taking up most of my days.  Other than what I see on Facebook, I’m way behind, but I will be back.

2020 Calendar decisions

It’s time to make decisions for the 2020 calendar and once again I am asking for your help.

It’s going to be a big post with 29 images.  Really only need 13 including the cover, unless I add December 2019 and/or January 2021.  Please pick the top ones you like best by assigned number.

2020 calendars will sell for $24 each including shipping in the USA.  I am willing to ship overseas but will cost more for shipping.  Payment will be made through PayPal.  If you are interested in ordering, let me know in a comment and I will send more details.

Hoping these sales will cover the outrageous RV rent for a month, probably in Cedar City, to take care of PT.

Thank you.

Update on two broken wrists:  I made a huge leap last Thursday opening and closing the 5th-wheel door from the outside.  Also opened, closed, and opened the truck door.  Plus turned the key in the ignition, but nothing happened.  Stone cold dead batteries.  Replacing those today and then may go for a short drive just to prove I can.

Hi, I’m Gaelyn, the Geogypsy

I retired after 29 summer seasons as a Park Ranger, traveling solo for 40+ years. My passions include travel, connecting to nature, photography, and sharing stories.

I started exploring US National Parks in 1977 and 20 years later became a seasonal Park Ranger.  I’ve lived full-time in a RV for 30 years working summers and playing winters.  I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow old, other than grow up.

Let’s share our stories.  Here’s more of mine…

My wheeleastate

I am currently…

…boondocking somewhere in southern Arizona.  In the area, give a shout.
