Places I’ve been
I started traveling around the United States 35+ years ago and have managed to at least drive through all but three states, Maine, Alaska & Hawaii. Yet I’ve only been blogging since 2008 so most of my posts are from travels in America’s west, plus South Africa. Check out places on this list.
United States
Arizona where I’ve called home since 2005, working summers at Grand Canyon National Park and exploring beyond.
California provides primary travel routes from north to south through incredibly diverse landscapes.
Colorado captured my heart decades ago and I explored much of its southwest while working at Mesa Verde National Park.
Illinois is my birth state.
Nevada infrequent visits and drive thrus.
Oregon one of my Pacific Northwest homes while working at Oregon Caves National Monument.
Texas because my parents lived there.
Utah for it’s southern beauty.
Washington another home base while raising a family, going to college and starting my career as a Park Ranger at Mt St Helens, after she erupted.
I am a Park Ranger summers and a park junkie all the time.
