Unusual Visitors


This little wren somehow found its way into my house. It flew from one end to the other several times while I tried to take photos. I finally opened the door and it quickly found its way out.

I don’t know where this tree lizard is living but it joined me in the kitchen this morning and then disappeared under the stove.

It’s nice to have company.

Remember Whensday – Self portrait 1990


I was an adult college student finishing up my Associates Degree at Shoreline Community College near Seattle, Washington. One of my classes was figure drawing and we were working with conte crayons. I still like the slightly abstract look.

Puter trouble after the hike

Got back from the AWESOME four day hike across Grand Canyon.

Last night my friends had to leave for Washington.

I planned to be online checking out posts, labeling hundreds of photos and posting at least a teaser from the hike. But…. my computer crapped. This morning it seemed to be OK. But I can’t seem to download any pics.

Today I have to pack the fifth-wheel to roll tomorrow. So….. don’t know when I’ll be back online.
