Not really beefalo but a hybrid of Bison and cattle first bred during the early 20th century on the Kaibab Plateau.
Although this photo of Kolb Studio on the South Rim was taken in February 2010, it won’t be long before there’s a lot of snow at Grand Canyon. In fact they’ve already gotten some.
The South Kaibab trail descends from the South Rim of Grand Canyon 7 miles and about 5,000 feet to the Colorado River then one of the two bridges allows foot traffic to cross to Bright Angel camp and Phantom Ranch.
