I love being back at Grand Canyon, Rangering around. Roving trails talking to visitors, answering questions, helping visitors plan their visit in the visitor center, presenting programs about geology, condors and Ancestral Puebloans. Soon there will be more programs.
Yet I once again forgot how much time working 40+ hours a week takes out of life. My “to do” list keeps getting longer. I’m struggling a little keeping up with blog reading and I like knowing what everyone is doing. I tend to read first and write second.
Seems like there’s always so much to do. I signed up for a travel writing class in April and haven’t gotten past the first lesson. Still learning how the new camera works and always wait until the last minute to figure out settings. Like for the eclipse when I took over 100 photos with a solar filter and am now processing them and trying to put a really good combination of shots together. Note to self: Do not try to learn new software with a special project.
On top of that the laundry is building up as are the dirty dishes and my house is a mess. I need a maid.
So if it seems I’m not around commenting on your posts, I’m often reading but run out of time to comment.
How do you all manage your time to get everything done?
