Heading out Bright Angel Point trail Thursday afternoon
I’ve discovered monsoon season at Grand Canyon’s North Rim doesn’t always mean rain as the big clouds drift over almost within reach.
Watching it rain on the South Rim about 11 miles away always provides a great show. And if I go out without a raincoat and it does rain I’ll always get wet.
If I look to the skies after the rain has passed with sunshine to my back I don’t always get a rainbow, but sometimes is good enough for me.
When I take a panorama picture it doesn’t always match up quite right, but I’m learning.
The evening light on the canyon walls always changes rapidly and never looks the same twice, no matter how many photos I take.
And Rangers always do get paid in sunsets.
