It’s no secret I love to shop at thrift stores. Last Friday Berta and I managed to squeeze in three thrift stores after my visit to the dentist. First stop, our favorite, Yavapai Humane Society Thrift Shop where I found, can you believe it, a turquoise necklace for $18. OK, so maybe your thinking that’s not thrifty but believe me it’s a pretty good deal.
Not all my purchases are personal embellishments, I also buy practical stuff. Like this great shoe hanger for my closet for $3.
Plus I’ve been hunting for a rug for the living room and fell in love with this at St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store for $25.
No, this isn’t a close up of the rug. It’s a secret.
My first Victoria’s Secret. Actually bought this for $7 to use as a throw over my bathing suit which I will be wearing as you read this while I soak in the hot tub at the Colorado Belle in Laughlin, Nevada where Berta and I are having some fun.
Hope you’re having fun finding treasures.
