Flying to Chicago for my 40th class reunion was awesome (posts coming) but upon my return I needed a vacation. So on the way home from Las Vegas I went camping at Toroweap in the remote western part of Grand Canyon National Park.
On the way I finally bought a good Manfrotto tripod at Camera Country. Such a pleasant surprise to actually find a camera store. And WOW, what a difference this tool will make. So now I have another new thing to learn besides how to make the camera do what I want.
Here’s one of my night time attempts of the moonrise complete with stars.
