Running out of Time

Only two and a half weeks left to work at Bryce Canyon and much to do in preparation of moving the 5th-wheel and moving into the truck-camper.

Days off never have enough time to get increased chores done and write blog posts.  Not like I don’t have anything to say.

Doing fine.  Have many photos and stories to share when able.

Thank you for supporting me and the blog.

Geogypsy 2021 calendar photo choices

It’s that time of year to choose photos for the Geogypsy 2021 calendar and I hope you’ll consider helping, and buying a calendar too.

I think this can be done in one post as there are aren’t many photos considering I wasn’t using my DSLR camera from mid-August through December 2019 because of breaking both wrists.  But I still have more than the 13 needed for the Geogypsy 2021 calendar so I’d like your help.  Please leave no more than your top 10 choices, according to their number, in your comment.  Feel free to make suggestions.  Also let me know if you’re interested in purchasing a calendar.  Thanks in advance.

However, my summer Ranger season is over in about two weeks.

So, where do I go from here?  A question I’ve been pondering for almost a month.

My next doctor appointment October 9th should refer me to PT, an office conveniently across the hall.  That could mean 2-3 days a week for at least a month.

And that means staying in the truck-camper in an RV park.  The 5th-wheel will be stored not far from Bryce for the winter.

Please let me know, if you haven’t already, how many 2020 calendars you’d like to pre-order at $24 each including shipping in the USA.

I am sorry for not keeping up reading blogs.  Just trying to get my life in order, napping, and healing is taking up most of my days.  Other than what I see on Facebook, I’m way behind, but I will be back.

Hi, I’m Gaelyn, the Geogypsy

I retired after 29 summer seasons as a Park Ranger, traveling solo for 40+ years. My passions include travel, connecting to nature, photography, and sharing stories.

I started exploring US National Parks in 1977 and 20 years later became a seasonal Park Ranger.  I’ve lived full-time in a RV for 30 years working summers and playing winters.  I’m still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow old, other than grow up.

Let’s share our stories.  Here’s more of mine…
