This week’s Foto Friday Fun features 7 images chosen by readers from my photo files, mostly from South Africa. I do love to share those memories.
Sherry chose #9287. While on a little hike in Augrabies Falls National Park, South Africa I spotted this rock arch among the granite boulders.
Jodee chose #5760. Look closely for the bird nest on top of the rope and under the beams where starling chicks called out for food. Saw this at Wild Coast Sun in Port Edward, South Africa, a 5 Star Resort we did not stay at with Casino, water-slides, golf and access to the most amazing fossil site.
Diane chose #7008. Saw row upon row of hops growing along the road just north of George, South Africa in March, 2014.
Mary Lou chose #7943. Waterholes of any size are a great place to find elephants at Addo Elephant National Park, South Africa.
Jerry chose #5000. Ring-tail Lemurs were the most prevalent primates at Monkeyland in Plattenberg Bay, South Africa.
Shane chose #7435. One lonely daisy along the upper buckskin canyon trail when hiked in July.
Yogi had random dot org choose #497. In February, 2012, the Weaver Mountains in a drive by shot on Iron Springs Road, a drive between Yarnell and Prescott, Arizona.
My choice from this week’s hike in Grand Staircase-Escalante, a dog friendly place with a happy Sasha.

Cute picture of Sasha the lucky hiking dog. Are lemurs related to monkeys? Love those elephants!!
I believe lemurs are primates.
Sally says she would love to spend some time with Sasha, running through the canyons. How about 6550 for next Friday.
Sasha would like that. Have you down for #6550.
