Just before the sun disappears last rays shine on the Deva, Brahma and Zoroaster temples. Clouds mimic the golden glow.
On closer inspection soft clouds blanket the San Francisco Peaks. Canyon walls replicate the colors.
Does the cloud colors copy the canyon or does the canyon colors copy the clouds?

Hmm, I could sit and ponder that question for a long time. Great pics.
Thanks. Let me know when you get the answer. 😉
Must be sad leaving that behind every year
Certainly not easy. But I’ll be back.
Such beauty!
Thanks Bo.
Even the quieter colors are beautiful!
I think so too.
Not sure who copies whom but they are both beautiful. Sad that you are leaving. I will miss your gorgeous canyon photographs.
I’m sure you’ll be seeing more canyon photos before I return in the spring to start over again. Plus, soon there’ll be photos from Oregon.
Beautiful captures as always, Gaelyn, can’t beat the Grand Canyon for beauty!! Hope you have a great weekend!! In the meantime, Oregon is waiting for you!!
Thanks Sylvia. The canyon never disappoints. But it’s gorgeous in Oregon too.
so beautiful. I remember Brahma.
Those temples are etched in my mind.
I like to think they’re working together. Fabulous Canyon/sky shots, Gaelyn.
I believe you’re right.
I like the striations along the canyon walls. Beautiful!
Beautiful views!
Have a wonderful week-end!
Lea
Thanks Lea.
These are great examples of the canyon walls reflecting the sky colors!
Copy or original the colors are drop-dead beautiful. Amazing views. Next year you will see even more.
