Today is my last working day of the season yet I’ll be here a couple more days getting the 5th-wheel ready to roll.
Sure hope to see a couple more magical sunsets at Grand Canyon.
To view more skies from around the world, or share your own, go to Sky Watch Friday.
Parting is sweet sorrow, but you’ll be back. 🙂
I plan on it.
That’s magical for sure!
Thanks Jo.
Sure enjoyed the whole summer via your photos of the North Rim. Thanks sooooo much! And it was such fun meeting you — true, a highlight of my whole summer! 🙂
Was fun to meet you too Bo. Hope you make it up again next summer. And maybe I’ll get down your way this winter.
It seems like you just got there!!
I know.
Fabulous, nothing better than a good sunset. Take it easy Diane
Agreed.
Beautiful photos!
Thanks Hans.
Hello Gaelyn, lovely captures of the sky and canyon.. MY favorite is the first shot with the moon! Happy skywatching and have a great weekend!
Thanks Eileen, that one’s my favorite too. I’ll be packing this first weekend of unemployment. 🙂
I hope you get to see a few more of these awesome sights, too! Can’t believe another season is over. Portland – here you come!
I missed tonight’s sunset while closing the visitor center, my last time this season. Am looking forward to Oregon.
Whoa…now that’s breathtaking for sure! Aloha
Thank you so much.
Glorious skies in a beautiful place and terrific captures as always, Gaelyn!! Thanks for sharing!! These do indeed take ones breath away!! Have a safe trip!!
Thank you Sylvia. Will roll in a few days. Have a wonderful weekend.
Great
Thanks for the spectacular Grand Canyon shots over the last few months. I’ve really enjoyed them! Best of luck in Oregon.
Thanks Peter. I’ll never tire of looking at the canyon or photographing it but now you may have to wait until next spring for more.
How very gorgeous!
I’m sure going to miss those, but I’m sure not as much as you will be
I’m sure you’ll see an occasional shot before I return in spring.
So beautiful. I can understand the pull to be there! Nice shots Gaelyn!
Thank you Lorac. It’s not easy to leave the canyon, but it is time.
The sun will rise in a new spot soon! And be here waiting for you next summer.
