Out on the Navajo Reservation not far east of Flagstaff the Little Colorado River drops over Grand Falls as sunrays shine on the San Francisco Peaks.

Spectacular! As is the link back to the whole post.
That is just an award winning picture. I’ll have to put that in the group of my all time favorites. Should be a poster. Simply gorgeous!! I love seeing one of your great pictures every day. What are you up to other than providing treats for my eyes??
I’m not up to much these days. Long days at the computer. Putting together plans for South Africa. But today, I’m going to the Wickenberg Gem and Mineral show.
I should send this to my cousin who lived in Flag for twenty or thirty years. Beautiful!!
Thanks. Feel free to send it.
I love this. Rain in the distance a river up close. It brings back memories. Not of the San Francisco peaks. We used to live in Eagar, Arizona on other end of the state. My brother and I walked a few times to the Little Colorado River (it was really little there) and would go fishing. We never caught anything but we had a great time.
The Little Colorado River doesn’t usually have much water around there either. Seems to run mostly underground. Nice memory.
WOW! I love this shot, Gaelyn. I’m on blog break but not friends break – came by to wish you all the joys of the season.
Thanks Barb. Hope you are enjoying your break.
This is a stunning picture, worth being on a postcard.
Thanks Firefly. I do think once in a while about printing greeting cards with some of my pics, but always too busy.
Beautiful sun rays.
What a treat for the eyes!
