Having spent five wonderful days in Kruger National Park decided to spend yet one more before heading to Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Because I’m not working on my own computer I don’t have any photos to share but will try to very soon. Have already taken over 1000 of elephants, giraffes, hyenas, buffalo, waterbuck, impala, hippos, rhinos and many birds. I know my birder friends will be extatic. So all for now.
Welcome to South Africa, Gaelyn! Wow, I look forward to seeing those photos, especially the birds of Kruger. Enjoy your trip down to the Free State and Golden Gate. If you travel down the N1, you should turn off onto the R707 or the N5 to Golden Gate NP. Keep an eye out for a town called Marquard on the direction board. That is where our SA home is! And guess what? We’re coming out on leave a week earlier, so there will be no slip-up because of time factors. We will definitely see you. Have a safe journey and enjoy he Sentinel, Gladstones Nose, Mushroom Rock and many more in the GGNP! (((Hugs))) Jo
I MISS YOU – – but your great adventure is worth it – – We got about 4-5 inches of snow last night, but it is going away fast – – All is well here, so, carry on and get those PHOto’S
