I took my shadow hiking.
We had to pass the gate.
We stopped to gaze in wonder.
At how plant and shadow relate.
Then sat staring at a rock.

I love this post, Gaelyn! Very clever.
Love it! Makes me smile. 🙂
Right now, my shadow is lost beneath snowy sky. Maybe I’ll get lucky and see it later today.
The sun went away here too. 🙁
The two of you had a beautiful hike! Thanks for taking us along.
Any time.
Yep, it does look as though you both had a great time in a beautiful place!! Love your shadow shots for the day!! Hope you’re having a good weekend!
Cute post, Gaelyn! I hope you and your shadow had a fun hike.
Sometimes, my shadow is my best friend! I especially lie the plant photo, Gaelyn. Snowing here – so no shadows today!
I hike alone so often my shadow is my primary companion. No snow here, just cold.
Smiling at this delightful journey of striking shadows! Beautiful scenes!
Great shadow post.
I’m glad your shadow stayed with you:) I’ve heard that they can be full of mischief;)
My darn shadow tries to outrun me sometimes.
🙂 It happens:)
Nice,
How about a shadow shot of you jumping the gate?
Very funny. You want us to break something? Like a leg.
thanks for taking us along on your hike. your shadows lines are crisp against the sun…
You seem to be doing a lot of shadow photography lately.
It’s rather fun to play with the shadows.
Gaelyn, LOL! I hike with my shadow all the time! Fun post!
