The fall colors on the Kaibab Plateau absolutely glowed.
With an added affect of a daytime sliver of moon overhead.
To view more skies from around the world go to Sky Watch Friday.

Beautiful!
Our fall glow is gone, but I’m enjoying yours! Snow here by tomorrow.
Also expecting snow here tomorrow.
Amazing that you can catch that sliver of a moon. I can’t even begin to do that. Great picture! Our colors are just starting to get serious finally!
If we get the predicted snow tomorrow that will be the end of our colors.
Please send me your snail mail address for a canyon postcard to add to your collection.
Oh, no, snow. It must be time for you to go. It rained here today but we don’t really ever have to worry about snow.
The latest report predicts possibly up to 3″. I have 10 more days left. Hope it doesn’t stick around.
Potter’s Creek looks nice. My last dog Carson would have barked at the deer, but was a quiet bird watcher.
I still can’t seem to post on your blog. But I am reading.
Have not been able to figure out why you can’t post on my blog. No one else has ever let me know they have a problem. You can use a number of different identities to post. Wish I knew how to fix it for you.
I love it when the sun is shining on the beautiful Fall colors. Exceptional here too. But rain is coming up soon. It hasn’t rained here since early July—we are braced. LOL MB
Those golden aspen absolutely glow and glitter under the sun. Predicted up to 3″ of snow tomorrow. I’m not ready for that.
Gorgeous Gaelyn!
Love those early fall colors! Have a great weekend.
These are the last of the fall colors as today it’s snowing.
Fantastic photograph, wonderful autumn climates. I am greeting
I love those shots with the tall trees looking upwards, it gives the impression of great heights which I am sure they are. The moon is just an added bonus. Cheers Diane
That second photo is stunning!
I’m getting sad. When does all this beauty end for you? Is it November?
My last work day is Friday. I pull out the 22nd for a few days in Flagstaff then on to Yarnell for some of the winter. I’m ready for the season to be over, yet sad to leave.
