I know it’s empty. If I ignore you will you go away? Nope, I’ll leave my hummingbird shadow on the shade.

Very creative! Now go feed the poor thing. 🙂
I did feed it, again, and again, and again.
Great shadow shot for the day, Gaelyn! I’m sure he visits on a regular basis!! Hope you both have a great weekend!
Looks like this cute bird is folded in an accordion and singing the same old song … feed me, feed me. 🙂
They are always singing “feed me.”
I am glad after a photo like that, that you did go and feed it 🙂 Diane
It’s a daily routine to refill the feeder.
Interesting shot!
Now that’s an eye. Seeing the possibility of a photo from a shadow on a shade.
Well Yogi you keep your eye on a lot of interesting and different sights as well.
O this is adorable! Amazing how these feathered ones make you feel so guilty if they’re not feed on cue!
It’s almost impossible to keep up with these hummers Gemma.
Love the shadow shot. Birds sure can eat a lot for such little critters. I have 13 bird feeders and they are almost impossible to keep filled. But I do enjoy watching the birds, so I fill them again, and again, and again…..
I bet you feed them well!

Enjoy your Sunday.
Hahahaha!!! That is too funny. I see now who’s running the show:) That’s why I love them. They sit on the branch and wait for me in winter to put out the new stuff….and if I don’t come right away, they hover in front of my window:) Very smart birds!
I’m sorry I didn’t respond until now….I had a most incredible wildlife trek today within Tucson. I rcv’d a tip on some birds. Didn’t find them of course, but there were tons of other things in the area and I was just stunned by yet another great Tucson secret. Coyotes, mountain lion tracks, bobcats, butterflies, and fun birds were all over the place today in our cloudy and COOL weather. Hope you had a fun day. Thanks for sharing your pic. That’s very funny:) They’re so demanding:)
Oh yea, I listen to my wildlife and these hummers also tap on the window if the feeder is empty.
Sounds like you had an adventure. Very cool to see all those tracks especially in cooler temps.
What a unique shot. It’s so fun to see the world through other people’s eyes. 🙂
Emily, I agree that it’s fun to see the world thru others eyes. Your images from France look quite inviting.
I love your shadows
Excellent picture. We hung up bird feeders for the first time in years this season and the starlings have taken them over…I am devastated. Maybe I should try a hummingbird feeder instead…although it sounds like keeping it filled is keeping you busy!
I sent you a message earlier on this post which may have gone to your spam file — my granddaughter was trying to teach me to use an IPad as a second computer. I’ve never used an Apple product and I don’t think I really want to learn. (Yours was the first website name I could think of off the top of my head.)
Sallie, your first message did go to spam. I’m trying to remember to check that more often. At least the comment went out on the IPad thingy, and good to have a techie granddaughter. This tiny 8 oz feeder requires daily filling.
Beautiful photograph. I am greeting
If you sit there quietly he may think you’re not home
Tried that Firefly, didn’t work. They persistently knocked on the window.
Splendid!
Cheers … visiting from Shadow Shot Sunday
