I’m hoping the flowers will still be in abundance today on the Walhalla like last week. And maybe no big monsoon thunderstorms to chase everyone off the overlooks and back to their cars.

Those wildflowers are so pretty. Hope you get to see more today.
Beautiful wildflowers. They make me feel cooler just looking at them. None in my walking vacinity. In 90 degrees even the flowers are fried.
Poppies, red ones, are blooming here, plus blue cornflowers. I like your collage.
Some of my particular favorites here lately in Yellowstone have been fringed gentian, monkshood, sticky geranium, and blue flax. Flowers love rocks!
I love that the highlands of Arizona have all those beautiful wildflowers right now. Mt. Lemmon is full of them right now. In Tucson, the second round of wildflowers are coming back with the rain but I haven’t seen any flowers yet. Enjoy:)
so so pretty ~
Hey Gaelyn, just read about you on the adventurouswomenblog. You seem to absolutely love your job, which is so refreshing to see. I have also found how difficult it can be to get a permanent position as a park ranger from others experiences. So I’m creating a resource for park rangers careers and was wondering if you had any advice or tips that you think others would benefit from in pursuing this career? Love the blog, thanks for your time!
So gorgeous Gaelyn — there are no more beautiful wildflowers than those in high country.
We have masses of wild flowers around here at the moment and the roadsides are gorgeous. Your photos of your wild flowers look quite a lot different to ours. Diane
Not too much in the way of wildflowers here. I love yours though.
Seeing that we are in the mids of a cold and wet winter there aren’t much blooming except for the magnificent Aloes all over. With all the rain we’ve had I’m sure we are going to have a stunning spring when it comes around.
Dandelions, poppies, thistles…
