OK, it’s a 4×4. But I haven’t taken it mud whompin’ before.
The wheel wells were packed with mud and rocks.
The running boards were thickly coated.
Even the tailpipe was encased with two inches of gunk.
I washed it all off. But aren’t you curious where all that mud came from?
Mud definitely has a way of sneaking up on you…. I’ve just returned from a three-day trip and my car has some mud. But it hadn’t rained….
Beats me but I wish I’d been there to go through what the truck did. 🙂
You went off the beaten path on a dirt road while it was wet or a creek was running. Mud always indicates fun:)
As for the water studies at the B2. They’ll be starting soon. I was an epic fail with this shoot because I should have taken pictures to match the narrative. I may have been a little sun burned:) Basically, they will be studying how the water trickles down things like a mountain top and where the water collects at various spots below canyons or mountain tops. A webcam and updates will set up for people to follow. Essentially it’s a major study on rainfall that has quite the funding. It should be rather fascinating once they get started. A room that was once dead and collected dust in a museum is now an active information hub full of people….it was a nice thing to see. Overall, the B2 has been coverted into a major water studies project and rising temps. The lecture was interesting.
Speakng of rain, I hope we are hit today with a major storm:)
From just daily driving around because of monsoon season.
Annie wants to mud-whomp a 4X4. It’s only a matter of time, little Prius.
I’m sure you will share with us where you went, but it looks like it was a wet and muddy trip.
Either it is really really monsoon season or else you have a great story to tell us.
