Blue sky to the west over Pine Valley Mountains, Utah
Skies over the towering cliffs that make up part of the Colorado Plateau seem to change mile to mile.
Cumulus clouds to the north float over Zion National Park
Stratocumulus seem to gather for a storm that never came over the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument

Love these photos but then I an watch the changing sky for hours. Have a great weekend. Diane
Love the scenery and beautiful images, Gaelyn! Happy skywatching!
The big sky’s moodiness is just another one of the many things I love so much about the Southwest.
Beautiful skies and scenery, I especially love those puffy clouds over Zion!
I’ve never been able to understand the names of the clouds and which are which but I sure enjoy watching them here in Florida. Most often they are big puffy ones on a blue sky background. But they move and morph almost constantly. Thanks for a view of the southwestern skies.
I hope you get some wonderful rain this weekend….and with it, excellent lightening shots! Lots of rain coming our way….Sunday is our best chance.
lovely skies! Out West, one can see so far.
