Finally got my truck back. Think it will pull my 5th-wheel?
Actually this old rig was parked in front of Escobars last week where I had lunch with friends before picking up my, hopefully, repaired truck.
Then I took off for Hurricane, Utah to do the shopping I’ve put off for two weeks due to constant truck repairs.
The views of towering cliffs seems endless looking toward Zion National Park.
But the temperature reached 100 F according to the reading on my truck. Whew, couldn’t wait to get back to the cooler pines that surround the north rim of Grand Canyon. Though these boys seemed to have the right idea of a way to cool off.

Hope your truck troubles are behind you! Love that last photo with the two horses.
What a super looking old car. Be nice to have. I sure hope your truck troubles are behind you forever. Tain’t fair, I say. My daughter seems to have similar troubles with her truck. And I am running out of money. LOL!!! MB
The view toward Zion is beautiful.
I think those horses won’t be running for long in 100 degree weather!
Hope the truck is truly repaired this time.
I wouldn’t like the heat but I love the rugged landscapes with so much beauty.
Hope that truck is finally fixed. What some beautiful scenery ’round them parts:) It’s also nice to see the cowboy dream is still alive. Very iconic last shot.
That old car looks great. Hope your truck is ready for a few more adventures.
What a neat old car. However, my favorite picture in this post was the cowboys riding their horses. Fascinating part of the country./
I know you must be very happy to have your truck fix and back on the road. The scenery along the road is beautiful, I loved visiting Zion. Thanks for sharing, have a great day!
Beautiful pictures — love the view toward Zion! It’s too darn hot though! (We;re now at Mesa Verde and know whereof you speak)…… hope your truck repairs are perfect…I wouldn’t really trust that top picture as a tow vehicle ;>) … even though it is drop-dead adorable!
What splendid scenery…and I love your truck’s new look…. ;<)
The scene with the mountains in the background is stunning. I don’t think we always realse how hot it gets there by you in summer by just looking at the pictures.
hope that truck is fixed by now.
love the photos.
safe travels!
big hugs!
I like that galloping horse shot you captured. Hot in Denver, too, but nice (70’s) here in my forest.
I’m so glad to hear you got your truck back and that you finally got to do your shopping! Car repairs. UGH!
I hope that your truck stays fixed. I’ve never heard of Hurricane, Utah. Love the H on the hillside though.
First off I want to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I truly do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Many thanks!
