The moon hung over the meadows.
And over the old burn too.
Then played tick-tack-toe over the desert.
Wonder who won?

Very nice.. Will let you know if we make it to the North Rim
Good morning!! I should be doing work around the house, but I am still in my PJ’s yet thinking about how I’m going to deal with this hot weather. We have projects going on around the property and I may choose to do the pottery shopping instead:) Much easier than the potting part….which may be tonight:) Looks like a gorgeous day up there.
Great shots. Diane
A gorgeous post, – perfect for SkyWatchFriday!
It is magic to see a daytime moon!
Beautiful shots.

The sun won the round of tick-tack-toe!

I love the wide open spaces in that first shot!! And the contrails in the last!
Terrific captures, Gaelyn! I do love that open sky and that whisper of a moon and the contrails! Hope you have a great weekend! Enjoy!

Love the tick-tack-toe game and that incredibly blue sky!
I love when the moon is visible during the daytime!
Beautiful blue skies. I’m not big on plane trails, its like visual pollution, but I like the last pic.
Nice bunch of pics. Ever since I was a kid and first noticed a daytime moon, they have become my own personal private good luck symbol. I don’t know why, just do.
