Sometimes I think practical. Besides a few weeks ago when the power went out for hours and my 12v didn’t seem to be working (put on the list), no candles could be found. Living in an RV I don’t burn candles too often as these little boxes go up in smoke almost faster than you can get to the door, and that’s no more than 20 feet from anywhere. Have you bought candles in a while? It’s like all designer at $3-4 each. These five, brand new, still packaged, tapered candles cost $1.25, for all five. Sweet.
Of course, I also found some jewelry. Just something about the shine of sterling silver that catches my eye. Seems the Yavapai Humane Society Thrift Shop has become a must stop when in Prescott.
And I couldn’t say no to a $5 sterling and turquoise pinky ring either.
What wonderful treasures have you found this week?
Those are great finds you found! I haven’t been in a thrift store in awhile, but I do like to go and get tops from them. I work at home so I don’t need to “dress” so why spend $30 on a sweater or shirt where I can get one for a few dollars there 🙂
enjoy the day

Oh, wow….I love the ring and earrings and would use the candles. I light some from time to time. My friend comes over on Tuesday nights to watch the first season of The Killing…and I light candles. Season Two starts on April 1st in the US, and I’ve asked my son-in-law to record it until I get there…
That is a lovely ring. Candles can be scary in an RV. I got one of those led ones and it flickers just like a real candle–no heat build-up either.
Love that ring, I could also not have said no at that price!! Diane
Love that you go on these hunts. I have not. But I did buy a birdhouse and it looks cool for our property:) Now was it a deal…maybe not, but we did get a free bag of birdseed out of it:) I like your candles. I’m a sucker for burning them….and even moreso when they have a scent:)
I’ve been meaning to hit the dollar store and seeing your post makes me want to go out and get some deals!
You really have a knack for finding interesting stuff
