OK, it’s March but I’m still catching up from February. In fact I’m still posting the trip to Grand Canyon’s History Symposium from the end of January. Its not like I’ve been really busy. (Shit, I never finished the posts from South Africa, two years ago.) I’ve always had more ideas than time.
I’ve spent a lot of February watching the birds and even participated in the GBBC for the first time.
When the sun pours through my windows crystals catch the light and rainbows dance on the walls, floors, ceiling, and me. Sometimes I try to catch them.
Then the sun westers and slowly sinks behind the Weaver Mountains, I am drawn to watch the ever changing sky. (Don’t mind the dirty window, I don’t have a maid.)
Weekly trips to Prescott include the picturesque drive, visits to the dentist, thrift stores and groceries.
Berta and I went to Gold Rush Days in Wickenburg and wandered around the vendors.
We also went to Phoenix and on the way home, may have gotten lost.
Made it out of the house one sunny afternoon for a walk in the Weaver Mountains.
Visited with fellow RV bloggers who are boondocking just below the Weaver Mountains in desert country. Kelly, Al & Pheebs from The Bayfield Bunch, and Pheebs and me with RV Sue. Very windy that day so we sat comfortably in Sue’s Casita.
Ended the extra long month of February with snow and a trip to Laughlin, Nevada with Berta.
Maybe I was busier than thought. Like this busy squirrel.
It looks to me as though you had a marvelous February!
Your sunset photos are always enjoyed here. Over spring break we get to go hiking down there at Painted rocks and the valley of fire. I am so looking forward to those sunsets.
You took so many great photos of your adventures, no wonder you didn't have time to post them! That squirrel is a sneaky one!
If we get to DEVA we'll have more stuff to get behind in writing about. I'm ready!
I have a crystal just like that in my window! Love the squirrel with his paw on the feeder….
It looks to me like you have been busy. Love those sky shots, I can't see any dirt on the windows, you should see mine!!
The squirrel is cute but I am sure he is not supposed to eat the bird food!
Diane
That last shot is a riot!!
You are a busy gal, Gaelyn! Looks like you have several posts already in the works. Love those bird pics – I see some Cardinals.
Looking forward to reading about Cabelas…
It was fun meeting you and hearing about your life !
have you ever thought of this happening with all of those crystals hanging in your window?

How fun! The squirrel was ready for the picture!
Wow! You've been busy!
You know how to pack a month to its fullest – love the colours in the birds on your first set of photo's. What is March going to bring?
Wow, what a catching roundup.
Love the post! At least you have great ideas — I have nothin' but time, and sometimes don't feel like I have any ideas at all. Your birds and scenery are amazing. (And we got lost in Cabelas (the original one) once! Know what you mean.
Sometimes one doesn't realise how little time you actually have till you need to use it. Its specially true with blogging. Just not enough time.
I too have a crystal that dances all over my rig as the sun is going down. It is so cool!
