You can find me almost any evening looking out my imax windows at the last light in the sky and what a surprise when I saw this sundog.
This is the third one this year.
So grabbed the camera, always at hand.
And just kept on shooting.
I’ve never seen a sundog last so long.
These images are one minute apart.
Going, going, going…
…almost gone.

Gaelyn, just beautiful. BTW, did you give that dog a name? 😉
Wow, the shots are great. I've never heard that term, but I do appreciate the effect.
Sundogs are like life – they change in a heck of a hurry. Great captures.
WOW I have never seen anything like that in my life. Stunning. Diane
Love the feathery clouds engulfing the last threads of the golden light. Lovely fluid movement. Beautifully captured.
Fantastic captures, Gaelyn! How terrific that you were able to catch the movement! Awesome! Enjoy your weekend!

You are a sun dog gazer. Nice pics.
I really enjoy how you document the progression of the sunset. It was really quite brilliant.
