I truly love thrift stores that support the community, like the Yavapai Humane Society in Prescott, Arizona.
I bought two pairs of like-new shoes $3/pair, a copper bracelet $3.50, and two pairs of ear candles $3/pair.
I just love these shoes.
Had to explain to the lady employees about ear candles which were quite a savings at the usual price of about $20/pair.
What kind of second-hand treasures have you found lately?
Wish we had thrift shops here. Certainly nothing around us in rural France. I was always led to believe that ear candling does more damage that good, you obviously think otherwise. Keep well Diane
Oh, I drool over your thrift shop finds. Right after my jet lag this May when I return to Seattle, it's Value Village for me…and others….
Oh, I LOVE thrift stores! I found my favorite shoes at one near Prescott. They are slip on shoes, like yours and I wear them every weekend! They are so comfy! Unfortunately, the little thrift store up by the horse ranch closed for good. Their prices were very reasonable and I found lots of homemade blankets and curtains there…darn! Maybe Saturday I'll drive over to Temecula and check out the thrift stores there. Nice finds!
I love thrift stores.
And what is ear candling?
those shoes look so comfy.
great finds, i love thrift stores!
happy wednesday>
xx
that decimal was hard to see in the price of the bracelet…i almost fainted thinking you paid $350 for it =o)
Well I did get some brand new picture frames with mats for $3.99 each. There are perfect.. Nice wood, nice size and hold a 11×14 pic.

Great deals. Like the shoes. I like to stop at thrift stores while I travel, I may stop at one tomorrow that I saw on my way to this RV park.
I'm off to look up ear candling; never have known exactly what it is.
That is great when Thrift Shops support a worthy cause.
The dogs at the Humane Society will be benefiting from your finds and your dogs look like they'll be comfy in those new shoes
I love those shoes too – they look so comfy! No thrift shops here …
I keep wondering what your going to do when you fill up your small home on wheels with all your finds..might need to pull a big trailer hee hee 🙂
