After absorbing the view at one overlook along the Hermit Road I still had a little time before touring the historic boats so continued on to Mohave Point overlook.
I could enjoy a picnic with this view, in warmer weather.
But as you can see by the trail condition it was a bit nippy for that.
Yet the views were worth a little cold and ice.
I just didn’t stay long enough for my fingers to freeze to the camera.
What a lovely collection of captures of the beautiful Canyon. I've been there several times. It never ceases to amaze me.
I've enjoyed looking through your Grand Canyon Photos. Now I want to go back through your blog – and I will! Here are my own reflections on a trip to the Canyon. Glad I found you.

Fingers not frozen to the camera is a good thing – as is seeing your beautiful pictures.

Awesome….could never tire of seeing this view…
The Canyon is so beautiful in winter, without the summer haze that always seems to be present when I visit.
It's fun to get a tour of a place few of us will see in the Winter. I can see what we're missing from your pictures (but also of course what I don't miss about Winter…I'm too old for freezing fingers ;>)
A view truly worth braving the cold.
Stellar view worthy of frozen fingers! Thanks for sharing…
