I love wearing skirts. During summer they are fun, fine and comfortable, especially when hiking. During winter I add leggings and boots for a warm layered look. I’m not trying to be fancy, although skirts like this provide more color than my plain kaki hiking skirts. I really don’t dress for fashion, just like to be comfortable and not have my clothes restricting motion. Although it is fun to swirl in a skirt once in a while. Bought the above top and skirt for $6 at the Soroptimist Thrift Store in Wickenburg, Arizona. And it even has pockets!
Don't even remember the last time I wore a skirt!!! I am definitely a pants/slacks kind of gal.
And that is a wonderful fun picture!!!!

Pockets! Oh how hard it is to find skirts with pockets! I won't buy a skirt unless it has pockets, and that eliminates most of them.
I would wear sundresses on the hot humid days in Chicago, but never felt comfortable in skirts – maybe too binding around the waist. I like your hiking outfit.
I'm more a jeans sort of lady but I do love a bargain!! Well done you.
What a bargain, well done.
Love the pic, it looks like you were about to take off.
aww, gaelyn, you look great and soo happy in that photo!
love it! i like your hiking outfit as well.
what a bargain, well done!
I very seldom ever wear a skirt but love this one and the price sounds very good to me. Diane
I've gone to skirts, too, in the summer; Indian kind. They're just sooo much cooler and elegant, too.
And you know I am a thrift-shop nut, too.
I love skirts – especially in the winter with leggings. For some reason, I stay warmer that way.
That is a terrific thrift find!
You are a hippy girl and you look like you are ready to fly!
6 bucks? Thats a bargain. I love your unique look. Very hippy like indeed.
Very cool! You remind me of Pippi Longstockings 🙂
You certainly look free and happy!
