Saturday, November 5th in Peeples Valley and Yarnell located on Highway 89 many local people set up their tables of yard sale goods on the sidewalks in both towns.
This is what we woke up to Saturday morning.
Mike’s Mom owns an antique store, Patty & Sons, and she buys out estate sales. Sometimes that means getting a lot of stuff that doesn’t fit in the store.
Three of the five sons
So the parking lot was full of tables and because of the cold windy weather was the only outside sale going on. And we were all very busy.

Too bad that the weather wasn't more cooperative. It's nice she has you and Mike to help out.
Looks like fun! I surely would have stood out in the cold and picked through the stuff on the tables.
I would have loved to come and "swell numbers" Gaelyn. I like to look through a sale like that – never know what you might need! lol! Blessings and hugs Jo
Would have loved to have been there but I would have been very unpopular if I had of bought anything. We are trying to see what we can get rid of at the moment!!! Diane
good way of recycling. The antique dealers have a good eye on good stuff.
I am sorry about the weather, but it looks as though you made the most of what you had! Great shots for the day, Gaylyn! Glad things are going well for you and Mike! Terrific!

Great photos and interesting work ~thanks, namaste, CArol (A Creative Harbor)
I like big community yard sales like that. It looks a little chilly though.
You got back home just in time for snow! Mary said they had weird weather today in Rio Verde – even some hail. Not a good weekend for an outdoor sale!
Wow, now that is a super yard sale. Have fun.
Love the swirly sunset. MB
I'm glad that even though it was cold it went well. I would love to browse through Mike's mom's shop.
Brrr… looks cold in your world to me! Does "…we were all very busy" mean lots of sales? I'm avoiding all the pre-Xmas bazaars as I'm in a downsizing mode. 🙂
Wow, Mike's Mom's antique shop looks fascinating. It must have been fun helping out at the yard sale, except for the cold windy weather.
Nice articles. I'm just blogwalking and very happy to stop here. And also give you some comment here.
Dont forget to give us some your comment into my blog too.
Thanks for share,

i'm glad that even though the weather wasn't good it all went well.
such beautiful photos, dear gaelyn.
thanks for sharing:)
I doubt the weather would deter the hardy, or the table top addicts. We have 'Boot Sales' here, the majority are table top in a large field, but they called them 'Boot' as originally most were selling stuff out of their car boot (trunk). They only hold them between April and late September though, I guess the field gets too soggy, wet and muddy.
Now, this is the way to have a yard – city sale. A grand idea, and I bet it was very festive going from one place to the other. I would have loved it. genie
I'll bet you were!
