The original vacation plan, which went entirely astray, included several nights in Flagstaff. However, a cold front is rapidly approaching with snow predicted here by Friday so the warmest place to be is home in Yarnell. Tomorrow. Barring any unforeseen circumstances. Or a really good offer.
The truck is now running, and even better starting, like new.
I don't know, that looks pretty sweet! It snowed here today but it didn't stick.
Get yee to warm weather! We need to do that soon to!
weather rules, being safe is smart of you. be warm and safe.
Too bad that your plans were up-ended. I like those sand hills. We stopped at the turn out to Johnson Canyon when we were through that way last spring but didn't want to drive that road with the Roadtrek. I don't think RVs and dirt roads are a good combination.
Well good or bad at least the truck is running. MB
I'm sorry your Flagstaff visit has gone out the window, but I'm sure you will be planning another visit soon. At least you made the best of your holiday
Gaelyn, you found a pretty spot in Flagstaff. I am glad your truck is running like new. Now you can continue on and have a great trip. I wish I could head to the warm weather for the winter. Have a great day and a safe trip.
Looks pretty cozy, but best to get moving. Glad you're truck is up and at it.
I heard about the cold coming. I'm eagerly awaiting it down here but I do know it's not fun to drive in snow. So hope you get out safe and sound. Flag is a nice place to be stuck in though.
Your truck breaking down may have done you a favour in reality, you may have come unstuck in weather otherwise.
Sorry about your plans being foiled though.
Also sorry about the Bentley, you cannot have it, I've got first dibs on that vehicle.
Gaelyn, sorry I haven't been around for a while but I sure hope you get where you are going before the snow flies! Safe Journey and Happy Trails to you!
Oh well, there is always another day. Have fun in Yarnell!
