I’ve been so busy this summer and have so much to post about that I can’t seem to catch up. So here’s a few images from the days of summer, with more to follow.

I love seeing these scenes! I've never been to the southwest, but can see that it is very beautiful!
As always fantastic photos and that lightning shot is just amazing. Diane
Your photos tell of a scenic summer, Gaelyn. (And more scenery to come on your vacation!)
How nice to meet the'wheelestate' man again.
Such drama in your scenery, compared to our placid fields 🙂
That's the beauty of this meme, to see such variation.
It was the hat, and the face in the shadows 🙂
So many beautiful places and such terrific captures, Gaelyn, as always! The lightening is awesome! Hope you have a great weekend!

Gorgeous photos, Gaelyn. It's hard to beat the beautiful contrast of canyon and sky.
That's a wonderful world! Great shots of spectacular places.
I'd like to witness a storm like that!
What a summer it was. Many of your pics make me nostalgic. Dad's first job with the Forest Service was on the Kaibab National Forest (way before I showed up on the scene) and they were married in Flagstaff.
I love the lightning picture.
What a summer, any one of those shots would lead to a few posts. So many wonderful places in one summer, you really are so fortunate in your choice of work and lifestyle.
I love your world!
With such a beautiful world to live and work in I am sure you are the envey of your blog's followers. I know I'm jealous and hopefully one day you can play tour guide to me on a visit.
