OK, so I didn’t see any little people while rafting the Colorado River.
Just our staff having a whole lot of fun at Elves Chasm. This is a very popular stop for river runners and can get quite crowded. Yet we enjoyed it to ourselves for over an hour.
This slot canyon provided us with a dip or two in the pool below the falls.
Some people hiked to the upper falls. I just enjoyed the views.
And some really cool rock.
Before too long it was time to leave and continue down river to set up camp for the night.
That fifth picture looks like a mass of semi precious stone. ! am sure they would look good polished and made into jewelry. Diane
That pool looks inviting.
I'd like the pool, but I'd ease myself in, not jump!
Gaelyn, the waterfalls is lovely. What a great spot to take a break. I enjoyed the photos, thanks for sharing.
Wonderful photos and lots of fun.
Bee-utiful and looks like a lot of fun. Great hikes seem to be countless out there.
I love it!! What beautiful falls and what a terrific place to take a break! Your photos are superb, Gaelyn! Hope you have a great week!

I love rock faces and these are all so beautiful to me. The falls and swimming hole look like very inviting. I love your blog header.
What a great place to stop. I guess that if anybody went skinny dipping you all would be filling out government forms for several months.
What a beautiful little falls and swimming hole. Looks like a lot of fun.
That looks like great fun. And what a wonderful name Elves' Chasm is!
You have some life! I envy you! 🙂
That looks very inviting. The perfect natural pool slide
The waterfall and pool look like a lovely place for a swim.
Do you collect rocks at all? I used to years ago, I had a rock tumbler for polishing them until someone stole it, some of the pebbles make beautiful jewellry.
The cairn art is quite the balancing act. Lucky we never had rain because we slept in the open. It's amazing what those raft chefs can cook!
Playing in the waterfall looks like a whole lot of fun. I think I would have been in there like a shot. What a glorious place to stop at!
Oh, fun!!
Wow! So much going on there, I wouldn't know where to start!! Great fun for you – and also for your readers!
