Ah, I just love those rays reaching down to the canyon.

I always like to see the sun's rays streaming through clouds!
SKY OF WONDER
Sky of wonder, sky of bliss,
Who would think a sky like this
Would permit my eyes to see
Sun and moon and stars for free?

Gorgeous, GL. I love the golden rays.
Sorry I have been MIA but I have been having such a good time with a fellow I met. I think I am happy. YAY!!
Weather here–close to perfect–blue sky–a few clouds and mid to upper 70s. Even an 80 today. WooHoo!! MB
What a reward after a rainy day. Have a great weekend, Hugs Jo
I know the feeling of being a day visitor somewhere and having the day spoiled by rain, but I can imagine that for the locals it must be fantastic to have rain like that.
Beautiful, and I like your definition of female rain.
Lovely capture of the rays, Gaelyn! Happy skywatching!
Great sky!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

That place of yours is sure an attraction and I won't even mind going in the rain… I'm sure it's WARM rain!! 😉
Always beautiful sunsets! I wish I could have made it to the North Rim on our trip (got to Bryce and Zion, but just ran out of time). Maybe next year…
Female Rain? I have never heard it described that way before but…now that I think of it…it makes sense!
