One of my favorite views of Grand Canyon from the North Rim is seen from a bench towards the beginning of the Bright Angel Point trail. I love the way the Pinyon Pine frames the shot.
Plus the afternoon shadows play not only in the canyon.

Love these shots, Gaelyn. The first one the distance is so soft and wavy and the second one rugged and mysterious. Next time you travel SA, we have got to meet. (((hugs))) Jo
I would love to join you on that bench, maybe in my dreams . . .
A beautiful view and shadows are always fascinating.
I have similar pictures, I, too, would prefer to be at the North Rim right now. I came to Texas for a family reunion and decided to stay and explore – so I could find places to stay for the winter. Once I am fulltiming I will go North in the Summer and South in the Winter.

I've seen the Grand Canyon twice, but from the South Rim… not from the North… those are beautiful…

It's looking fine down there! You have sunshine. What a beautiful view. I would never tire of it.
This is very wonderful.
Nice!
I have always loved light and the sky.
I like the play of light and shadow on the land, and what better place than the Grand Canyon.
I love that view although I've never been there
Fantastic! 😉

You can't go wrong with that view, but the tree limb does add a lovely frame.
