Won’t be long now before the aspens turn from green to gold and slowly drop their treasures to the forest floor yet still hold up their skeletal crowns.

love trees, and I like the first photo. though the falling leaves are inevitable.
Raking up leaves… where do they all come from?!!!
Please remember to show us some of those colourful leaves as the trees change. Over here we get very little of it and it is so beautiful.
I love that first shot with the tall aspen and the incredible blue sky. A handful of the aspen were already turning on Pikes Peak when I was up there on Monday.
Brilliant angle in the first shot, Gaelyn. We're entering spring in South Africa but also going into winter here in North Africa. Bless you my friend. (((Hugs))) Jo
Those Aspens look very tall!!!! Diane
Love the first photo the best!! Just beautiful!
They're turing quickly here, Gaelyn. Last night the temp went to 21 and stayed there for a long time.
Yes, I guess it is getting to that time of year again. I always love the fall colors.
Those trees look stunning against the brilliant blue sky! I'm looking forward to autumn…
Autumn skies and trees are like peas in a pod. Nice photos.
So true so true.
Here the Big Leaf Maples in the hill are already turning yellow. Very pretty. I am torn–looking forward to Fall yet don't want Summer to be leaving. I guess she's got a train to catch.

It seems like you just got to the Canyon, and here it is almost time for you to leave for the year. This summer has sped by! In Alaska the leaves are already gold and it won't be long until they are bare. I know that by the time we get home in early October all the leaves will be on the ground. Where we are right now in Pennsylvania there are a few trees that are starting to change color, but it's still mostly green.
When its autumn (or fall as you call it) over here (which it isn't cause its spring), we don't have a lot of autumn colours. So I'm looking forward to see some on your blog. *wink*
Lovely tree and sky photo. Yes, the high country here is already turning to yellows and oranges.
