The snow piles scattered around look like nature’s ice sculptures. And I’m so glad they’re getting smaller.

No kidding!
It looks a bit like a prehistoric monster! Diane
Yea! I took a picture of a patch of snow on the ground in Yosemite that looked liked the face of an owl! Even the dirt marks were in the right places. Enjoy the last of the white stuff and then the dirt that's under all of it all brown and wonderful until next winter!
As winter moves away from you, its settling in over here
It looks like a cool sculpture, but it's huge for mid-May! Can't last much longer, though. Real spring will be there soon.
Hooray! It won't be long until you'll be seeing flowers. I saw my first little wood violet blooming today and some bluebell buds.
I can see a camel's face in the lower right of the pile…
Happy that the snow is melting and it does leave interesting looking shapes Gaelyn…Michelle
Gaely;) unreal that you still have snow and we're experiencing 49-51 degrees (Celcius) of heat daily. Thanks for always visiting my blog. The kitten very tiny – she stands less than 6 inches in her bare paws (!) We cannot believer her ears. They'd suit a full grown cat. She continues to thrive in the Hedges household!
It doesn't look like summer green has reached the north rim yet. I'll probably see plenty of that white stuff when we open the cabin next week.
They make fantastic shapes sometimes. Guess it is a sign of warmer weather on the way.
I wanted to say bye-bye to our heaps of snow….it's gone, and now we have buckets and buckets of rain. I know summer will be hot, so it's okay, albeit a bit depressing. Glad to see these sculptures are shrinking! 🙂
Looks like the piles of snow left here and there up at the Pass. Warmer days are ahead for you. MB
