I did wash the window later, honestly
I left the house just after 10am, but then stopped to say goodbye to a friend and finally left town about 11am. After a fuel stop in Peeples Valley I detoured Prescott and hit Highway 89 North just before noon. It was warm when I left Yarnell and continued to feel perfectly comfortable with my window down as the miles disappeared under the tires.
But the bugs were thick, sorry about the blotches
Yet there’s still snow on the San Francisco Peaks and even a few patches along the passes.
In fact the person that checked me in at KOA said it might freeze tonight so I didn’t bother to hook up the water hose.Unfortunately, one of the fellow Rangers I’m suppose to hike to Havasu Falls with is having car troubles in New Mexico. Doesn’t look like he’s going to make the hike. Still planning to connect with another Ranger and go for it.

I think it was absolutely amazing that we ran into Jeremy in Tucumcari. We slept later than we normally do, and took our time getting on the road, because the weather was so crappy in Amarillo. If we had left at 8 am, we would never have seen him.
I know he is not happy about missing the hike, but things happen sometimes.
We made our reservation in Flagstaff to arrive tomorrow night. see ya!
Hi Gaelyn, You're on the road again! Happy trails to you.
Thank you for stoping by to see mom and dad, that was real sweet of you… Another reason why I love you!
Yes, the begining of another season. Time does seem to fly doesn't it? I am sure Mike misses you already. 🙂 Have a great summer!!
Gaelyn: I don't like to have a windshield mess. I'm glad it didn't cause any problems.
Your life is just amazing! You go, Girl!
It looks like you had a good day to be on the road. I'm looking forward to those photos.
thar she goes—down the road again. What a life you have Gaelyn. MB
Happy hiking!
That looks like a great place to enjoy nature 🙂

Gaelyn, you sound excited to be back and working soon? I will look forward to seeing the photos from your upcoming hike. Have fun!
You never stop – do you? What an adventurist life you live. I too, chose to live; not just exist.
You DO have one of the best jobs. I love your yesterday photos, and am anxious to see more when you get back 'to work.'
The "borrowed" picture of the falls you posted the other day is stuuning, so I am hoping to see it through your lense. Enjoy the hike.
Safe travels, Gaelyn.
Safe travels Gaelyn!
