The training is over but the snow is not. Got several more inches last night and due for more today. Do I try to leave today?

Whatever you decide, do take care! That is a snowy world there!! Have a great week, Gaelyn!

No! Stay and take pictures all day! Be safe!
This is a contrast to what lies ahead in South Afric!
Looks like an awful lot of snow Gaelyn! I would stay put a bit longer unless your truck has 4WD.
Not sure I would try it. Not like there are services of any kind if you get stuck!
If it was me, I might try to practice my skid control! Just kiddin'. Maybe you could stay put and practice your penmenship in the snow with your go-girl… whatever you decide.
If one has to be stranded, the Grand Canyon is a good place to be!
Just found your blog; I like the name "Geogypsy."
My husband and I are going to wander a bit, too, as soon as we are able to get away.
Yikes..hope you stayed put!
As I suspected, the photos of snowfall in the Grand Canyon are much more appreciated in the abstract than when experienced first hand. Brrr! Stay warm and safe!
Whoops. Hope all our comments keep you safe and warm. Now I know why you leave for the winter.
Well whener you do get out, please go carefully!
The freezing capture of the FORD logo is awesome! Nice shots!
It is beautiful, a photographer's delight in the Grand Canyon. It's no fun to drive in though but with your trip comming up I'm sure you have much to do at home.
Stay safe and warm! We're snowed in here too!
Gaelyn: Neat photo of the truck, hope you had a snow brush.
