5:10pm
I love to watch the sunset, guess we all do.
5:22pm
I’m usually in the house by dusk, especially when it’s cold.
5:26pm
Yet right out my windows I see the most glorious sights.
5:29pm
Nothing ever exactly the same twice.
5:44pm
The world is a movie of life. Are you watching?
All taken Saturday 12-5 thru my window, sorry the last one’s so fuzzy.

Great views. I love sunsets.
I know we used to watch the sky a lot more when we were young. Or I did. That was the last time I laid out on the grass at night and looked up at the stars. I don't think people do that much anymore.
I like morning sky better than evening. Probably because I just got up and am looking out.
I seldom see a sky as pretty as these are.
Gaelyn, having the last one fuzzy works because it is like we are all disappearing into the dream of nightfall. Beautiful post. Perfect skywatch.
Lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely!!!
Like Kathiesbirds, the last one worked well for me as well. The perfect ending to the most beautiful series of sunset photos I've seen in a long time.
It's been a while since we have seen such a glorious progression of color here. Glad you shared yours.
Fantastic, Gaelyn! I love how the clouds radiate outwards like a sun.
These are beautiful! It always amazes me how quickly the sky can change – especially at sunset!
Bbeautiful sunset pictures. Great colours
Very dramatic!
Terrific shots.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
Wonderful set. I love the changing of colors as the sunset progresses.
I love the idea of a timeline, these shots are excellent.
All the best

You're right about change! And what beautiful skies are a result! Terrific captures, Gaelyn, as always! Such beautiful colors!
Enjoy your weekend!

Hi there. I liked the pictures. My skywatch is from AZ this week, too.
How lovely to just look out your window and see such beauty. Great skies, Gaelyn.
Great captures of majestic skies!
As a kid I wanted to sleep late…now I want to be up to see the sun rise and hear the birds just before daylight. But the sunsets are my favorite. No matter what the day brought…a beautiful sunset made it all worth it.

I love looking at life as personalized movie too. Its good to be the director and the writer and the performer all at once.
I love the colors in the last couple of photos, just beautiful sunset.
Beautiful sunsets and so great to be able to watch them from the warmth of your home.
Wonderful shots of sunsets. Love all your images so much.
My entry
Gaelyn: Great colors in your stunning sunset.
Excellent, G. I love watching the sky and am glad I am in an area where there are no night lights–only the stars and moon. Pretty series. MB
Wow, great pics, Gaelyn.
Yes, I am watching. I wish I was in a place again where I can get pictures of the sunrise and sunset. They are the most beautiful time of day and the colors are magnificent.
Thank you for your kind words my friend. I missed you and your blog too!!
Lovely!
Lovely skies, and I like what you say about the world being the movie of life, and yes, I am watching.
Amazing post!
Life is a movie and the whole world is a stage. Love your skies. I'm off to find another firetower LOL
Its amazing how the sky can change in such a short period in the evenings. Beautiful.
Amazing, how rapidly those changes occur during sunrise and sunset!
Lovely, 5:29pm especially was quite a display.
Beautiful…we were out at dusk filling the feeders and bird bath.. very cold…yet strangely beautiful…
Gaelyn, I love the hand print in the sky. Beautiful skies.
I love how the clouds reach out from the setting sun.
I'm keeping my eyes open over here, Gaelyn. The natural world is much more entertaining than any DVD I've ever viewed.
It's like the sunset puts on a different show every night! Thanks for sharing it!
Fabulous! I love the sunset, too.
