Bright Angel Point and Roaring Springs Canyon
This storm rolled over the canyon last Sunday. We have gotten a little rain, but not enough. This is monsoon season when the summer rains should quench the dry land.

Wonderful dramatic shot Gaelyn
beautiful capture gaelyn.
are you enjoying your new camera?
Rain from the distance is always so interesting to look at. I wish I could send some of our rain…we have quite enough here 🙂
Is there any way you could transport the GC to Montreal. It's been raining non-stop here since April…
Bleh.
Kewl…you can see the sheets of rain.
Rain is beautiful! And the canyon is, too!
That's a beautiful shot. I hope you will get the needed rain as well as the drama of the clouds over the canyon.
Gorgeous shot, Gaelyn, as always! Dramatic as only that area can be!!
Pretty! So odd to see the sky on the other side of the storm.
I read the previous post- hope you got your wheel fixed. And, did you get any good photos while you were walking??
Gaelyn: Your vistis are lovely even under stormy skies.
Just beautiful! We live in the state next door, but have still not visited the Grand Canyon. Such a stunning place, even with the moody skies.

I like your photographs and your attitude! Keep up the good work and keep showing me the beauty that you surround yourself with.
The rain in the canyons always bring out the beauty of the rocks. I love it out there…

You have an unfair advantage, Gaelyn – that's a heck of a backyard to have for a photo op.
marvelous shot – such spectacular scenery
I know rain is bad for the tourists, but I alsways love it when it rains and can never have enough.
Great shot.
Sydney – City and Suburbs

Greatings from NL
Do they always have storm during summer. So different from my place. Looks beuatiful to me.
awesome sight!
Beautiful. I love your blog–sort of life I would have liked but Scotland does not have the weather nor the scope of country. We have some great wild places but much smaller in area and many are completely inaccessible with motorised transport.I will visit again.
Awesome shot!

Beautiful..those wide open spaces make it great to view storms!
Great photo. It must be awesome to watch a storm rolling in over the Grand Canyon like that.
Beautiful!
I've been enjoying your photos of the Grand Canyon…
In Oct/Nov, I'll be spending time in Zion, Bryce, Monument Valley, etc. I was thinking of stopping by the North Rim — are there good views, worth the detour, up there?
What a beautiful shot of Mother Nature….
Beautiful!
Great capture.
I love the drama in the sky, great photo !
I love seeing ANY skies over the Grand Canyon! Such a scenic treasure.
