I am going to South Africa!
Well, I don’t leave until March 1, 2010. But that’s OK, I’m going to be dreaming about this for the next 9 months.
I’ve dreamed of being a world traveler all by adult life. Then life happened: marriage, kids, divorce, college, pets, and a job that I love.
Carson at Crater Lake NP, Oregon
I was very sad to lose my Carson dog travel companion of 12 years last winter. And I knew I wouldn’t get another pet for a while so I could follow my travel dream.
Book it!

My travel list has grown by pages over the years. Blogging introduced me to so many people from around the world and many travelers. So where to start?
My itinerary
Why not visit a fellow blogger, Joan from SAPhotography who loves the outdoors as much as I, and is a natural tour guide. After we travel together in northern SA I’ll take off on the BazBus working my way slowly down the coast to Cape Town. I can stay at hostels or maybe some CouchSurfing.Note that I’ll have an 11 hour layover in Frankfurt (FRA). Anybody out there want to show me around town?I’m positive you’ll be reading more about this adventure. Right now, I need to let everybody I know, know.
