Wapatki National Monument
I took this last week on my way out of the monument. It brought the snow that kept me in Flagstaff an extra day. I understand it doesn’t look like that now but is clear and sunny like summer coming on.
Yarnell Sunset
I just couldn’t resist adding last night’s sky, taken with my NEW camera, a Canon PowerShot A1000 IS.
Finally a macro that works
And this shot is my inside sky, and dirty ceiling. An unknown kind of spider less than .25 inch which the new camera could immortalize from only 2 inches away. I’m loving it.

Beautiful skies! I especially love the first shot! I also love the spider one!
Wow – looks like your new camera is working out nicely! I can see you’re going to have lots of fun with it!
How fun that you got a new Camera Gaelyn. It should be fun to test out all of the features. Is it some kind of jumping spider. He is probably looking out for you by eating little mites or other yummy and juicy visitors to your traveling home.
Cool spider image, and those open roads are amazing. There is I’m sure a daily photographer from Flagstaff. You’d really like there stuff.
Hooray for the new camera! Love the second shot and the spider is really cool! Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend!
COOL spider, I love spiders.
Beautiful skies, and I’m impressed with that spider shot with the new camera!

How fantastic that you got a new camera Gaelyn!! Congrats!! It did a good job on this spider so now I hope to see LOTS of little bitty bugs and things. LOL!!
You savor freedom in ways many people only talk about. It takes courage to live in ways that inspire fearlessness. The images and adventures offer readers a glimpse of alternative ways of experiencing life. Thanks for your insights. Happy trails!
Cool macro, even though I am arachnophobic even with little ones. Ick!
Congrats on the new camera!
How much fun to have a new camera! New toys are always fun to play with. I am glad you are enjoying its features. Bernie decided his big camera was too heavy and bulky to carry the whole PCT, so we are taking a little one, that my parents are very kindly letting us use.
Happy new camera! I love the second shot!
I like the brooding quality of these photos.
Stormy skies for sure.
