When I was at Meteor Crater’s old visitor center Tuesday I parked in this lot also. At least my old rig wasn’t full of bullet holes.

Ae the bullet holes a necessary acsessory, or the results of shooting practice or is that a dangerous place?
A strangely awesome juxtaposition creating a very interesting picture.
beautiful skies…and of course where else do people leave their disgarded stuff but in the desert.
hope you’re having a good time out there.
Amazing sky shot. It is amazing the things one finds in the desert

It is amazing how the colors seem brighter and more intense in the desert sky.
Bullet holes? Not something I see everyday. This great photo reminds of CSI.
Great colors, but kind of eerie…reminds of scenes from No Country For Old Men.
We might all have bullet holes within us, but its good to get them fixed and plugged up as soon as they occur, that way we won’t leak and lose too much energy.
Great photograph. Love the sky.
Interesting parking lot.
Photo looks like a museum picture

Why do people always feel the need to shoot at old cars and signs. I think it says something about our society. I’m not sure what.
Love the old cars in that gorgeous sky shot.
Looks like they’ve been “parked” a long time…beautiful sky…
What a great still life! And the sky is wonderful!
I hope there was no one in it when they used it for target practice? I have always heard of the Mafia burying their bodies in the desert. 🙂
Nice sky, interesting composition.
🙂
Interesting company you are keeping!! Hope you don’t inherit a few bullet holes. Great photo and thanks for sharing your great adventures.
Love the contrasts in this shot and the interesting subject!
Very cool photo Gaelyn..I love the beat up cars in the front.
You be careful now – we don’t want anybody using your truck for target practise!!!
Amazing what you see sometimes in the desert.
It is indeed amazing what you see sometimes! Does make you wonder how and why the bullet holes, assume someone was practicing to be a better shot. But whatever, it’s a gorgeous sky and lovely clouds!
All of your photos exude BIG SKY!
Oh dear, did you have neighbors with large violin cases walking around? I hope it was a good place to camp. I love the red soil.
Awww, a little intimidating! Beautiful photograph though, I love the colours. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Smiles
Nice sky and car!
