I was so excited to see the sun break through yesterday afternoon after three days of gray.
As the sun hit the crystals hanging in my window rainbows danced around the room. Those rainbows are very elusive to my camera.
Rainbows on the ceiling
Then the largest crystal drew my eye, and…
I had fun with this and will continue to play with the idea of a crystal lens.
Same view without the crystal.
Great Idea. A crystal lens or a crystal filter would be a great way to explore the world. Maybe our world now is like a prism, and perhaps all of the fractal units can follow the projection back through the prism to the source that initially divides this world into a seemingly infinite amount of point of views or dimensional realities.
Great photos..love your crystals in the window and you photo of the sky thru the crystal…Happy Holidays
Very interesting pictures, especially the one with the crystal.
Boy was I ever glad to see that rain end, too1 We ahd to breakd down the trailer and move it two blocks in the rain in Tuesday so they could do repairs to our floor under warranty. Jim was soaked! and I was just wet.
I’m trying very hard to imagine how three days without sun would be like. Here I think we take the sun for granted.
BTW, that photo on the blog name header box (is that what they call them?) is just amazing! Astounding sweep of colour!
I love your crystals… are they hanging from the ceilng or are they clipped onto something?
What a wonderful life journey you have. I wish I could do the same … 🙂
Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog.

Beautiful header. What a great idea to shoot through the crystal.
I have 2 small crystals on the windshield of my car and IF we get sun I like to see the rainbows on my hands as I drive. MB
Very cool skywatch photos! I lol’ed reading your profile about owning “wheelestate”! I’ve not heard that one before, clever! My husband is in the rv business so I’ll have to pass that one on to him 🙂
Neat Skywatch! The crystals are a wonderful way to capture the light, but also made for some interesting photos!

What an amazing scene! I like the second photo with crystals hanging and the last one, especially. I’ll sure be here for more Skywatching in future!
Great skies through the crystals! If your camera has a lens which accepts screw on attachments, you can get some that give interesting effects.
Absolutely love your crystals… That close-up image is amazing!
