Look what wandered through my yard this morning, a javelina.
Actually there were two javelinas. I first saw them in the back yard rubbing against each other, nose to tail. No camera in hand. Wasn’t long after I came in the RV they appeared out of the wash. I snapped this shot through the window about 15 feet away.
The pair heading off into the brush
How cute are they! They look like they are in great shape!
I have never seen one in real life. Would love to though. these two are gruffy looking.
these little guys can create havoc..but they are interesting to watch from afar.
hope you are are healed up and back to eating solid food?
It’s great You were able to witness them up close and personal. In California I have often seen signs of wild pigs, but never got to see one there. I did get the chance to see some wild pigs up on the Big Island of Hawaii’s Mona Kea. That was fun for me. Thanks for sharing your close encounter.
I would have been behind the window too! 🙂
Saw one in our yard one time.
Love your new header photo! I have yet to see a javalina, even though I have lived in AZ for almost 2 years!
