I love to share my photos. Keep seeing bloggers put together their ‘best of’s and I follow some photographers and learn from them all the time. So I figured to put out a best of my photos from 2013. EXCEPT, I always post my best photos. And you’ve been seeing quite a few others on Foto Friday Fun. Hmm, what to do? Favorite photos, worst photos, most embarrassing photos, photos that should Never be published?

Most embarrassing photo
While in South Africa I discovered I can’t jump.
I throw away most of the worst photos, so……
…this one probably shouldn’t be published. Oh well.
Gaelyn, I love the moons shot, the baby zebra suckling, the Woodland Kingfisher – Oh I LOVE them ALL. I should go off and compile my best shots for 2013 too. That’s what’s so cool about blogging: you learn from others. And I love the one of you jumping and best of all the Beauty Queen shot! DO NOT throw that one away. or the one before. EVER. Big hugs to you, my friend. Jo
Not easy to choose my favorites either. And you are right about learning from fellow bloggers.
Happy New Year, Gaelyn! Love the photos, some of which I remember seeing. The jumping one is a hoot; I can’t jump either. Your pin-up is great! I could never post myself in a bathing suit.
That bathing suit photo may come down.
Honey you look mighty fine in that bathing suit! Your pictures are just fantastic. I don’t care if I seem them over and over and over again except that then I wouldn’t be seeing the new terrific ones you are taking. Wish I could get myself motivated to do a year wrap it. It just always seems so daunting. Happiest of New Years to you!
I was thinking the same thing about you in your bathing suit. Thanks for liking my photography. I haven’t been taking too many pics lately. But that’s about to change. It’s a bit of work, but fun to do a year wrap up. I have one more coming.
Fabulous set of photos, love them all. Did that cheetah have a collar on? Happy New Year. Diane
Yes the cheetah was collared at Mt Zebra NP where 4 of them had been reintroduced.
Glad that they are keeping track of them.
Wonderful, fun photos…and hot chick in hot pink! Happy New Year. Looking forward to your trip!
Thanks Lynda. 12 days until I leave. 🙂
Wow, what a great collection of best of’s. The moon shot, Cheetah, the clouds in the Canyon. You are a great photographer and take lot of pics so I find it hard to pick out the ones of yours I like the best.
Have a great New Year Gaelyn!!
I had a really hard time choosing.
I don’t know how you can pick just a few photos to share…you always have such beautiful shots! Have the happiest 2014, Gaelyn!
Thanks Sally. Soon I’ll have a while new batch of photos to share.
Love them all. You are VERY brave to publish that one of yourself. 😛
I love the jumping photo!
If you can call it a jump. 🙂
Amazing shots. I love them all. After discovering you can jump, what actions did you take?
Thanks. I can’t jump very well, so I’m going to work on it.
I really enjoy all of your photos too!! As for the swimsuit…enjoy it!! I have photos of me when I “thought” I was fat!! If only I could be that “fat” again!! 8*)
Oooh, the trip is almost here!! I am SO EXCITED for you!!! I know you will have a wonderful time!! 8*)
I may have to remove the swimsuit shot. Yes, I am excited!!!! Only 12 days til I leave!
Good selection of shots, Gaelyn! It’s hard to go through a year’s worth of photos and pick your best shots. Guess I did a little bit of that when I chose the photos for my calendar, although there’s other sets that include photos of people and flowers and travel. It’s a good exercise though to look back at what you focused your camera on during the last year.
Thanks Elaine. Fortunately I rate the better photos throughout the year to make it easier to find favorites. But having put together a calender I know how much work it is.
Don’t throw any of these photos away! Thanks for sharing!
Only the really fuzzy photos get thrown away.
