This week’s Foto Friday Fun includes 7 images chosen by readers picking a number out of my photo archives. Back to South Africa for this series of photos.
Diane is still working on Porsche models so chose #2 356, her favourite times two. Being she’s from South Africa originally I wonder if she’s been to Camdeboo National Park near Graaff-Reinet where even under stormy skies the Nqweba Dam showed a few birds, unfortunately not in this photo.
Firefly chose 2695 as a random number picked by a colleague. He may have visited Mountain Zebra National Park not too far from his home and I’m sure has seen Kudus somewhere.
Erin chose 2012, “because it was the year we both retired from the workforce and began fulltiming in our motorhome.” Still at Golden Gate, I’m thinking this would be a great place to RV and spend more time hiking.
Barb chose #2999, “just because.” Her choice takes us to yet another national park in South Africa, Addo Elephant. And this is another Kudu.
Bibi chose #2005, “the year I began and completed chemo? Not a happy period, but I’m still here, so I can’t complain.” I have total respect for anyone who has survived chemo. For you this week, a waterfall at Golden Gate Highlands.
My pick is the wash next to my Yarnell home as I remember its lush green. It doesn’t look like that right now after the fire but will return.
Thank you for playing along with Foto Friday Fun. It’s been a real trip to dig through my archives and pull the stories from my memories. For next week leave a number between 4000 and 5000 in a comment and maybe see your chosen image next week.
Which one is your favorite from this week?
